Russam Business Network Groups
Aimed at senior independent Executives who work with Entrepreneurs
RBNGroups are aimed at sharing knowledge and experience and exchanging ideas that will create the sort of commercial opportunities for mutual benefit that can best be generated between like-minded, same-level people who recognise the values of trust and confidentiality.
Sponsors
The RBNGroups are initiated and managed by Russam GMS Ltd, usually represented by Charles Russam with the support of a Russam GMS Principal. Additionally, there will be a guest Speaker, the format generally being a short 10 to 15 minute talk on a topical issue relevant to both Entrepreneurship and to the business of the guest Speaker. This is followed by a round-the-table discussion which is usually brought to an end after about 30 to 40 minutes.
The Groups
Each RBNGroup consists of up to between 10 and 20 specially invited top executives introduced by the Sponsors. Each Group meets in the early evening in a private room at an appropriate venue, generally every 3 to 4 months – a frequency which reconciles making new contacts with developing existing ones – and usually in the same place. Each meeting starts at 6.00pm with drinks, followed by a light supper at 6.45pm and then the talk and discussion. The end is at 8.15pm – so it is not a late night. The Sponsors seek to keep the numbers constant and, from previous experience, about one third of those attending on each occasion are new to the Group.
The Future
The sponsors continually invite views on how the value of the Group might best be developed.
Membership and costs
A contribution of £25 + VAT is requested to cover the cost of supper and wine, with the balance being made good by the Sponsors.
Future plans
Meeting dates are decided about one year ahead with the next date being confirmed at the end of each meeting.
