Established in 1919, they work across the South and Central England empowering disabled and disadvantaged people to reach their potential and achieve greater personal independence and choice in every aspect of their lives. They provide a wide range of innovative and personalised services that are driven by the needs of their clients, encompassing personal development programmes; employment services; housing and care options and community based support services.

The Marketing and Communications Manager is a newly created position. You will play a pivotal role; building on the strengths of the existing team to develop a high performing and professional central marketing capability that exceeds customers expectations. Specifically, you will help: raise the profile and awareness of the organisation, so that they are known and recognised as a leading provider of innovative and quality services; work with the External Affairs Director to support the development of the Brand strategy; and develop (with the External Affairs Director), drive and manage the implementation of the Business / Service units marketing and communications plans to support the delivery of the Business Plan.

You will ideally have successfully built high performing teams and have both agency and client side marketing and communications experience. You will be used to working in a multi-product or multi-service environment, managing a portfolio of products or services. You will have excellent communications and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build effective relationships. Most of all, you will want to go the extra mile to exceed customer expectations and set high standards to achieve this.

Chair at Thames Hospicecare - Windsor and Ascot
VIEW/DOWNLOAD Trustees Unlimited are making another appeal for a Chair at Thames Hospicecare. They’re looking for someone with board membership experience and who ideally has a background or understanding of health and/or social care, but certainly an empathy for the issues the organisation faces Details:

Thames Hospicecare Thames Hospicecare is an independent voluntary hospice situated in Windsor and Ascot. It is the largest provider of palliative care in East Berkshire, working closely with other health providers to deliver a service of excellence to local families affected by cancer and other life-limiting illness. It is vital that the postholder can demonstrate empathy for and an understanding of the issues facing the organisation, such as how care provision is changing, and the Care Quality Commission standards, so ideally they are keen to recruit somebody who has a background or understanding of health and/or social care, or who has worked for related organisations. The role is for that of the Chair and consequently experience of board membership is essential.
