Presented by
Stephen Brooker, Chairman, Health Care Practice

In his nine years as a Non Executive of East and North Herts. NHS Trust, Stephen has been involved with a major county wide reconfiguration, PFI, local general hospitals, independent sector treatment centres and the Foundation Trust application process.

and
Mike Whitlam, Specialist Sector Advisor

As acting Chairman of Hillingdon PCT Mike is highly involved in current and very important discussions around the Health Care for London and the growing importance of Health Services moving out of hospitals and into the community. It is a good opportunity to discuss these issues alongside the demands of world class and practice based commissioning.

Stephen and Mike will draw on their recent experience in the service – World class and practice based commissioning, acute hospital reconfiguration, establishment of independent sector treatment centres, local general hospitals and urgent care centres, foundation trust application process as it applies to a troubled Trust, to mention, but a few.

There will be an opportunity to Network over tea and biscuits at 4pm; the formal session will start at 4.30pm followed by a Q & A session. The evening will close with wine and nibbles.

This is a great opportunity to listen to and ask questions of our two key speakers and share experiences, solutions and frustrations! Other members of the Russam GMS will also be in attendance including Charles Russam, Jason Atkinson and Ian Joseph. We do hope you can join us!
